Rino Caiazzo is regularly recognised by leading international legal directories as one of Italy’s foremost practitioners in Antitrust, Telecommunications and Energy, including Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Global Competition Review, Leaders League, TopLegal and Legalcommunity.
Admitted to the Rome Bar in 1985, he is qualified to represent clients before the higher courts. He joined the firm in 2025.
His practice focuses on competition law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and arbitration, with particular expertise in highly regulated sectors.
Over the course of his career, he has advised leading Italian and multinational industrial groups, particularly in the electronic communications and energy sectors, assisting clients in complex matters characterised by significant regulatory and market complexity.
Alongside his legal practice, he has developed a strong academic profile. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Competition Law at Roma Tre University and as lecturer in the Master’s programmes in Competition and Market Regulation at the University of Tor Vergata and in Global Market Regulation at La Sapienza University of Rome.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences and round tables, and the author of numerous publications in the fields of competition, regulation and economic law.
