Admitted to the Rome Bar in 1983, he is qualified to represent clients before the higher courts. Over the years, he has also held several leadership positions within the IBA, including Chairman of the Bar Issues Commission, the Policy Committee, the Securities Committee and the Capital Market Forum.

His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, insurance regulation, litigation and arbitration, with extensive experience in complex regulatory and cross-border matters.

Over the course of his career, he has advised leading Italian and multinational groups on corporate acquisitions, reorganisations and internal investigations in connection with civil, regulatory and criminal proceedings. His practice also includes financial matters, with particular focus on commercial litigation, regulatory disputes, arbitration and white-collar crime.

Since the 1990s, he has played an active role in the liberalisation of the energy sector in Italy, assisting Italian and international clients in the development and financing of combined-cycle power plants and waste-to-energy facilities. Over the past twenty years, he has also developed significant expertise in renewable energy, advising on wind and photovoltaic projects, as well as on EPC and O&M contracts and project financing transactions, particularly on behalf of sponsors.

He currently serves as Statutory Auditor and member of Supervisory Boards for several companies belonging to multinational groups.
