Salvatore Lamarca

Of Counsel

Admitted to the Rome Bar in 1995, Salvatore Lamarca is qualified to represent clients before the higher courts.

His practice focuses on EU and competition law, with additional expertise in civil and commercial law.

After obtaining an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges in 1994, he developed extensive international experience working with law firms based in London, Brussels, Milan and Rome.

Over the course of his career, he has advised domestic and international clients in investigations before the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) and the European Commission concerning anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominant position and merger control proceedings, as well as matters relating to the application of consumer protection law.

His practice also covers a broad range of EU law matters, including the compatibility of national legislation with EU rules on the free movement of goods and services, state aid and the application of European public procurement directives.

He has also developed significant expertise in the electronic communications sector, assisting operators on antitrust, contractual and regulatory matters, including authorisation procedures.

Within his practice, he regularly represents clients before civil and administrative courts, as well as in litigation before the European courts.
