Practice Areas

Litigation & Arbitration

We represent Italian and foreign clients at every stage of litigation, also before the higher courts (Supreme Court, Constitutional Court) and the European Court of Justice, in corporate, commercial, real estate, employment, environmental, administrative, private enforcement, intellectual property proceedings, in national and international tax litigation, in bankruptcy proceedings and directors’ liability.

Strategic litigation analysis

Our professionals have considerable expertise in providing legal advice in connection with potential liability, preliminary litigation risk assessment and preventive strategy to guarantee the best service in risk management at a global or regional level.

Interim and summary proceedings

We assist clients in summary proceedings to obtain interim measures, payment orders, provisional payment orders and measures to stop payment of bank guarantees.

Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments

We have developed significant experience in the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments under national law, European regulations, and bilateral and multilateral conventions.

Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution

We have gained considerable experience in domestic and international arbitrations (including ISD arbitrations) and alternative dispute resolutions. Our professionals serve both as counsels and arbitrators in ad hoc and institutional arbitration bodies (Milan Chamber of Commerce, ICC, CCIG, CIETAC, ICSID) in Italy and abroad. We assist clients in drafting and negotiating arbitration clauses, expecially in the context of contractual structures and multi-party disputes, in resolving matters related to complex cross-border arbitrations, and in the enforcement of foreign awards.
